Bognor better than Barcelona?

It has been widely reported that the UK staycation business will be booming this year and I understand that bookings are well above prior years.

I get that, but what I also think might happen is that people from other countries will want to come to the UK for their summer holidays rather than us going to them.

I can see people from Spain and Greece going to Bognor or Blackpool and that’s because our vaccination programme is running faster than any other in Europe and we’re likely to be the only relatively safe country to travel to and consequently European travellers will turn to the UK as a possible holiday destination.

Can you imagine all the paella and Sangria outlets springing up in Bournemouth and I wonder how you say ‘Kiss me Quick’ in Greek?
